Overview

Le Grand BECK combines two buildings at one address. The turn-of-the-century villa has been restored with its herringbone oak parquet and period detailing intact, while the new wing beside it works with clean lines, plank flooring and large glass surfaces. Nine residences range from approximately 70 m² to 326 m², with three to eight rooms — garden apartments, apartments on the upper floors, and a penthouse on the top floor of the historic villa. Ceiling heights reach 3.50 m and the layouts are built around large windows, so even the smaller residences stay bright. Construction is still under way, and several residences are offered in alternative layout options. Buyers who decide at this stage can adapt the floor plan to their own needs.

Features

The Roof Oasis is the highlight of the project: a communal rooftop level with an 8 m outdoor pool, a sauna and a large sun terrace overlooking the treetops towards the Vienna Woods. A spa shared by nine households.

Every residence has private outdoor space, and the scale is unusual for such a central location: gardens of up to 482 m², roof terraces of up to 88 m², with balconies and loggias serving the remaining homes.

Key characteristics include:

  1. Geothermal heating with underfloor distribution throughout, plus pre-installation for air conditioning
  2. Oak parquet flooring, laid in herringbone in the historic building, with Italian porcelain stoneware in the bathrooms
  3. Sanitary fittings by Villeroy & Boch and switches by Jung
  4. Triple-glazed wood-aluminium windows, with electric external blinds in the new wing
  5. Video intercom, WK 3 security entrance doors and an optional smart-home upgrade
  6. Lift access to all floors, a storage compartment per apartment, and dedicated bicycle and pram rooms
  7. Underground garage with 10 parking spaces, pre-equipped for e-mobility
  8. Fibre-optic connection prepared for every residence

Location

Ober St. Veit is one of the quietest parts of Vienna’s 13th district, a neighbourhood of villas, mature gardens and old trees. Everyday shopping is a few hundred metres away on Hietzinger Hauptstraße, along with a bakery, a pharmacy, banks and schools.

Tram and bus stops are about 150 m from the door, and the U4 runs from Unter St. Veit to Karlsplatz in around 15 minutes. Access to the A1 motorway is close by.

The city ends quickly here. The wooded trails of the Küniglberg start almost at the doorstep, and the meadows of the Rote Berg are less than a kilometre away.
