Elevate Festival, Graz

Elevate is a yearly interdisciplinary festival focused on cultural and socio-political topics. Visitors will be able to enjoy lectures, workshops, performances and installations. The 5-day event will take place from March 1st to March 5th in and around the Graz Schlossberg. More details can be found at elevate.at.

Artacts Festival, St. Johann, Tyrol

Artacts is a jazz and improvisation festival held annually in the ski resort town of St. Johann, Tyrol. This year marks the 23rd anniversary of the event and the festival will feature world-class acts by international and Austrian artists on March 2nd-5th. Vinyl and Music festival, Vienna

This event will combine record exchange, live music, get-togethers and a total of 150 exhibitors. Visitors will be treated to live music by Mella Casata and Bad Ida. The festival will be held in Ottakringer Brewery on March 4th & 5th. Tickets are priced at EUR 15 for Saturday and EUR 10 for Sunday. WIKAM (Vienna International Art and Antiques fair), Vienna

Between March 4th–12th, the WIKAM Spring Fair will take place at Palais Ferstal, Strauchgasse. Guests of the fair will be able to appreciate classic and modern art, including the retrospective of Wilhelm Jaruska, who is the Viennese painter and graphic artist. Restaurant Week

Foodies will have the opportunity to get acquainted with Austria's culinary scene by experiencing either a 2-course lunch or a 3-course dinner. Carbon Literacy training for Sustainable Futures

This is an online course by Klimafit, aimed to educate Austrian residents about climate change, its effect and how people can make a difference in their everyday life. Although the course operators are in Innsbruck, the 3 sessions in English will take place online on March 9th, 16th and 23rd and the 3 session in German will occur on March 13th, 20th and 22nd. The registration fee costs EUR 150.

Weinviertel Dac Wine Tasting, LINZ

The Linz wine tasting event, which will be held on March 9th, is part of a Weinviertel DAC Tour in Austria and Germany. You will be able to taste the 2022 vintage from growers and winemakers at the Design Centre Linz.

Easter Market, Salzburg

As with most of the world, Easter is an important festivity in Austria, which is marked with special markets. In Salzburg, the artisan markets will take place on March 25th and 26th and on April 1st and 2nd from 10am to 6pm at Gwandhaus on Morzger Strasse.

Masters of Dirt - Elements 2023

On March 25th, a freestyle motorsport event will be held with quad bikes, snowmobiles and motocross bikes. One will be able to enjoy watching riders doing exciting jumps and stunts against the backdrop of light displays and music. There will be 2 performances at 2pm and at 8pm.
