DANUBEFLATS HAS REACHED A HEIGHT OF 180 M

Danubeflats, which is the tallest residential building in Austria, has now reached its final height of 180 m.

Danubeflats, situated in Vienna at the Donaustädter exit from the Vienna Reichsbrücke, celebrated reaching its final height of 180 m. The project's developer, S + B Gruppe, hired Peter Bence, one of the top contemporary Hungarian pianists, in addition to 4 other artists who performed from great heights, to mark the occasion.

According to Wolfdieter Jarisch, managing director of S+B Gruppe, 90% of the apartments in Danubeflats are sold at the moment. The penthouses are yet to be released on the market. The development is due for completion in 1.5 years.

The total weight of Danubeflats is an astonishing 120,000 tons, with 55,000 cubic metres of concrete and 10,000 tons of steel used in the tower's construction.

The fastest elevators in Austria will be found in Danubeflats. Also, residents will enjoy doorman services, an in-house gym, a restaurant, a sauna, a cocktail bar, an event lounge and a heated pool.

The urban development contract with Vienna includes the partial paving of the A22 motorway and the creation of public access to the Danube. Not forgetting 40 social units which have to be allocated for 10 years, in accordance with the Vienna Housing Initiative.
